I once read that a goldfish will grow to adapt to the size of its environment. In other words, if you put your goldfish in a larger bowl it will grown larger. If you keep it in a smaller bowl it will remain small.
In keeping with this same theory - it's important never to buy larger pants.

ReplyDeleteOMG! So damn true! I am currently at the top end of my weight range and the trousers are a little snug. Very tempting to get a larger pair! Instead, I've started back on the sit ups...

ReplyDeleteabout the goldfish, that's not true. generally goldfish are kept in a constant state of near suffocation in bowls that lack proper oxygenation or filtration.
