And always keep ready to bake biscuits in the fridge so you can quickly bake some and "waft" the smell of fresh bread through the house before walk-throughs. :)

a friend who had his house on the market kept a suitcase open---when he'd go out, or get the call someone was coming by, he could toss everything into the suitcase and go---he could carry anything he was "working on" with him---plus, when he returned, he knew exactly where the stuff was he had out before he left.
he also made sure to lock anything important up---financial/medical papers, the computers, prescriptions, bills, jewelry---all locked away.
good luck being "on" all the time around the house.
