I'm not so great at writing on twitter, but I love being able to follow people from all different fields - actors on my fav. shows, journalists, sports people, and a few people I actually know in real life. I get a lot of my news, and a lot faster than other ways, on twitter.
Like Beth, I'm not a prolific tweeter, but I do love to read my feed: there is a lot of very brilliant snark out there. It's good for keeping up on current events, gossip, politics, opinion.
