I would say TRASH. Bing would say FIX. And then she would fix it, but spend ALL day working on it and swearing and practically foaming at the month in anger. And, in the end, yes...we would have saved a hundred bucks. But, I would also want to smack her crabby self. Worth it? Hmmmm

How old is it? If it's younger than 10 I say fix it. Older than that, perhaps it's time to look at the newer models.

You know, between the roof, the basement, and now the washer, perhaps the Universe is nudging you towards that condo on the coast earlier than you'd planned on.
Don't trip over dollars to save dimes. Buy a front loader, use less water, less electricity and get a tax credit.
