Because reading and listening to music is just so, like, super duper easy!
I always keep my volume on silent. I can't stand that, especially if you open TWO tabs with TWO sites playing TWO different songs. Ugh!
I sing my own special theme music for many blogs anyway...their music would just interfere.

I'd only do it if I was in a band or a singer and using the site to promote said talents...other than that, or a link to a song that someone has to actually actively click on to make music...keep it off the site!
