Pilot

I have this new idea for a cable series I am going to pitch to Showtime (aka gay tv)
Real Lesbians.
Basically it will show what real lesbians do on the weekends. You know…kinda like the Lword – but since it’s not based in LA – the lesbians would do stuff like: raking, picking up sticks, laundry, mopping the floor, grocery shopping…

The closer of the first show will be something like this.

Two women clearly in love (although seemingly exhausted) are sitting on an open porch basking in the sun. They rock slowly, chatting quietly to each other, smiling and occasionally laughing. One woman is slowly and sensually enjoying an ice cream treat, licking the spoon o-so sexily, while glancing at her lover. Her lover is taking long luxurious sips from a succulent looking frozen drink, piled high with whipped cream and chocolate drizzle. Their glances are so hot it’s a wonder the ice cream doesn’t melt.

Then suddenly off camera is heard a loud car, with booming music coming to a skidding halt. The women look knowingly at each other. The music cuts off abruptly.
One of the women takes her cup lifting it up and away.
Car door slams, and almost instantly the cup is snatched from her hand – a boisterous teen leaps in between them, cup in hand, devouring the rest of the tasty snack.
Smiling, he jumps up and disappears as quickly as he came. Off camera we hear a car squealing away and a friendly beep-beep as he disappears down the street in a plume of dust.

Whaddya think? Huge market potential huh.

I got here via a link from another blog. There was this one blog that I had loyally followed, but sadly, the owner had decided to shut it down. So, I was looking for a replacement, and I think I have found it. :)

I think my life story from 3 years ago to the present has already found its way to the big screen so, having a "pilot" of my life on the small screen is a little too late. If you know me and my missus, and if you saw the movie D.E.B.S., you would know what I mean.

D.E.B.S. eerily emulates the life my missus and I have together; well, of course, minus the crime, the CIA and the guns. But it is never too late to change careers. ;)

My missus is beautiful, sweet and sensitive. Like Amy, she is blonde. She is the smart one who did very well in school. Like Amy, she is the 'perfect' one, the girl-next-door who everyone likes. In so many ways, she even talks and sounds like the character who plays Amy. She even wore school uniforms like they wear, just not that skimpy, and not exactly the same color and pattern.

Like Lucy, I am dark-haired. Like Lucy, I fell in love with my missus the moment I saw her. Like Lucy, I was aggressive and determined, who did everything I could to win my missus over. After 12 days of trying, 3 days of balling my eyes out, and one passionate kiss, I had succeeded.

Angela Robinson, do I know you? I want a share of the profit, please.

Well, Weese, I hope you will get your wish of stardom someday.
