Horticultural Identification

Anyone know how to properly identify Papaver Somniferum?

I am just curious.

You think you have some growing, Weese? I'll be right over to help you **identify** and **dispose** of it.

The only way to REALLY tell is to smoke it.

Do it al night on the back porch looking furtively over your shoulder.

as i recall they flowers are large and red. they have very tall bloom stalks as well. and if you cut the seed bulb when it is still green it will ooze out sap that you can collect, cook down and get arrested for possessing. i think growing them is legal in canada, but harvesting the sap is illegal, but i can't remember for certain. i could be wrong.
