How do you make a programmer insane?
Have them follow the directions on a shampoo bottle*
Why o why would they make a cell phone shiny. Its bad enough cars are shiny.
But a phone? What's the point?
You have to touch the phone...
all the time...
its never going to be shiny.
this
will
drive
me
mad.
* in case you don't have a shampoo bottle handy
Directions:
lather, rinse, repeat

Ha I love the shampoo reference, I work with some highly intelligent engineers..that are very literal. (asbergers)...they would never stop washing their hair. Oh and I hate it when I get fingerprints on my phone it drives me nuts.
You could follow eb...no cell phone...
Maybe rough it up with some sand paper? ; )
You NEED this. http://store.apple.com/us/product/TK299LL/A?mco=MTIxODk3Mw
Once you have it, you can clean the phone. And then clean it again. You can also clean your keyboard and anything else of that general type.
This is exactly why I didn't want an iPhone. It works by touch screen...which always has fingerprints on it. It drives me crazy because I have to wipe down the fingerprints every time I use it.
LOL. I'm like that with the front of the microwave. I think Karlene smears her hand all over the buttons on purpose.
That is so true! funny you post this, I dreamt last night I got a shiny new cell phone...
I had to get a case for my phone...I just couldn't take the fingerprints either.
Chapin's right about the case. Get the non-glare overlay for the front of it, it doesn't show the fingerprints as much.
When'd you get the phone and how do you like it so far?
So why'd you buy a shiny phone?
its a free phone. I absolutely refuse to pay for one. (this is also the next thing on the 'get rid of technology' list.)
the phone by the way works quite nicely.
i am seriously considering Guy's idea.
Pants. That is my suggestion. Pants are for compulsive cell phone grime wiping.
WD40. That is all.
I was wondering the same thing about my new ipod that my son loves to hold- the front is nice fingerprint friendly brushed aluminum. the back is a perfect record of his fingerprints should I ever need them for ID purposes !
