I woke up somewhere around 3:00 this morning because of a wacky, somewhat scary dream. It didn't take me long to realize I had been dreaming and that I was now awake and safe and comfy with my slumbering wife close by.
Then suddenly, out of nowhere, I realized I had a grammatical error in yesterday's post.
I mean... the error just instantly popped into my head.
How does stuff like that happen?

I don't know. If you figure it out let me know, that kind of stuff happens to me all the time.
It's one of two things. Either (1) you had too much to drink before bed, or (2) you did not have enough to drink before bed.
It shouldn't, you dork.
O great. Thanks Suzanne...now you know this will kick off a HUGE testing effort. I should probably start at hmm, the 'drinking too much' end of the scale.
Just tell us that you didn't jump out of bed to fix it at that hour of the night/morning!
its still there
I hate to state the obvious here, but Weese? You are so totally Type A it's scary. And I should know because that kind of thing has been happening to me for years. =)
what happened to the no beer thing?
I feel that the great work of copy editors is being maligned here. Weese should clean her garbage cans at regular intervals but not have nightmares about potential typos and grammatical errors? Horrors!
How on earth is a person supposed to get back to sleep if she doesn't immediately rise to rectify the wrongs that haunt her?
