No daytime TV or bonbons for me

What is the first thing one must do after getting laid off -- other than the obvious... find a job -- why, clean of course!
A good deep clean. A change of seasons clean. A new beginning clean.
There are several good reasons for this. It lifts your spirits, improving your outlook and giving you an upbeat attitude to better move on. It cleanses the Chi in the home and you will feel that difference and so will others who visit.
Plus if you're home all day and your house is a mess - now how would that look.

it sucks that you got laid off. i'm sorry that happened. as to not cleaning even if you're home...that'd be the dykewife household.

unless we make a concerted effort cleaning is way down on the totem pole of things to do around the house.

Cleaning can indeed be meditative. Good for you for having such a healthy attitude.

I was laid off for a few months last year. Cleaning is much more enjoyable when you have all day, every day to do it! And your wife will probably like having a "housewife" for awhile - mine did!

Hm, Sassy may be on to something... A lesbian Pay to clean service...you could even wear the outfit (which I believe is flannel and chaps)
