Fear

Is your dog afraid of the vacuum?
Our FREE dog is. Very.
She will do anything to get away from it once we power it up. Her fear is so deep rooted that she cowers when I just carry it through the room.

So we came up with this great idea to solve the problem of her sleeping on the sofa.

Fear can work as a motivational tool.

We used to call the vacuum the Storm Trooper, now we call it Our Sentry.

That's pretty funny!!! My dog is mortified of the vaccuum, but has no problem sticking her nose close to a running chainsaw. Go figure.

OMG, that's brilliant! I wonder if I put ours in front of the litter box it would keep Molly away from it.

That's hilarious! We save our empty windex bottles, fill them with water, and place them appropriately.

Dogs HATE a spritz.

I actually had to wake April up so I could read her this and show her the photo. AWESOME! I'm still laughing!

Our dog sleeps on the couch when I do the vacuuming.

My dogs don't mind the vacuum so much, but they are afraid of my daughter. SHe always startles them when she walks into a room. If something doesn't happen soon, may have to put the kid up for adoption. (just kidding, I think!)

Our 'boys' are terrified of 'that loud thing', but the upright that we have won't cover ALL the many places that they love to hang out on!

Glad it's working for you all!

My dog is a crazy head when I vacuum. So much so I have to put her outside. She herds and attacks it...and the bad thing is she thinks that is her job!
