Coincidence?

“Previously on weese”
… last week we found a mouse in our trap. I ‘felt bad’
for the little guy and let him go on the side of the garage.

Saturday, I found a mouse in the other trap.
Hmm….

This time I drove him over to the park. It’s a beautiful park, plenty of deeply wooded areas, playground equipment and two concession stands for ample snacking. I am certain he will make new friends there.

I checked the traps this morning.
Nothing.

If he was dumb enough to get trapped twice, then he's probably too dumb to find his way back to your house.

I love that you let him go. Twice. I believe in live and let live as well.

Do you remember a children's book entitled "The Mouse and the Motorcycle"?

The book has nothing to do with catching mice, but all this mouse talk got me thinking about it.

When you hear strange, high pitched noises coming from the basement and the garage, it's all his little friends missing him!

not to worry...his little friends will soon be living at the park with him.

According to Fun Facts on Mice...

Did you know that "the word mouse comes from an ancient Sanskrit word meaning 'thief.'"

Did you also know that "some ancient cultures had a lot of respect for mice. In Egypt a cooked mouse was used to cure a variety of ills including stomach aches."

Personally, I would not consider being cooked a form of respect, I would consider being cooked a form of torture. But that's just me. I'd much rather have someone bring me myrrh...I don't know what the hell it is but I bet it beats being cooked for respect.
